Biographies:


Wayne Evans, has been Director of International Strategy at TheCityUK since June 2010. Prior to this, he was Director International at International Financial Services London (IFSL). Wayne joined IFSL from the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) where his career in the UK and Overseas included Trade Promotion, Economic and Political policy. His last job at the FCO was to set up the Financial Crime Unit where with his team he represented the FCO’s interests relating to anti-money laundering and counter terrorist financing.

Gerard Lyons joined Standard Chartered in 1999. He is an expert on the world economy, the international financial system, macroeconomic policy and global markets in his role as Chief Economist and Group Head of Global Research. He is also an Economic Advisor to the Board and a member of the Bank’s Executive Forum.

Max Giolitti is currently Director of Risk Allocation at Wurts & Associates. Prior to Wurts, Mr. Giolitti was Director of Asset Allocation and Risk at the Alaska Permanent Fund Corporation. At Alaska Permanent, Mr. Giolitti was also responsible for the External CIO program, The Absolute Return Portfolio and the Multi Asset Allocation Managers.

The London Sessions, complementing our Edinburgh and Hong Kong Dialogue events, will provide the opportunity to discuss the effectiveness of the various portfolio management strategies adopted by managers of sovereign wealth and national reserves funds.
